Emergency Exercise - Dec 6

The Town of Edson will be the host of a large-scale, multi-agency, emergency exercise throughout the day on Friday, December 6th, 2024.
The site for the exercise is in the vicinity of Parkland Composite High School and Ecole Pine Grove School, there will be a large police and first responder presence. Do not be alarmed, this is an EXERCISE ONLY!
This is a non-school day; therefore, students will not be impacted.
Be aware that roads and trails in the area will be closed off for the duration of the event. We ask that residents keep their distance and allow crews to focus on the exercise.
Programming at the Edson & District Leisure Centre will not be impacted.
We appreciate your patience as we conduct this important exercise to ensure our community, and all agencies involved, are better prepared for potential future emergency situations.
