10th Ave and 43rd Street Trail Head
This access has some beautiful paved and gravel trails through a mature treed area. A number of trails follow the creek, as well as lead east towards the soccer pitches, community garden and Kinsmen Park. To the west the trails will take you to Hillendale where you can enjoy the pond and a new playground!
56th Street Trail Head
The 56th Street Trail Head will take you on a beautiful scenic walk on paved trails north to a pond/fountain and great treed areas along the north edge of town. To the south you'll find Griffiths Park and some great trails north the airport and along Bench Creek.
6th Ave and 42nd Street Trail Head
From this location you can access many paved and natural trails on the east end of Town, head east to the hospital area where more trails are being developed towards Vision Park, or access more beautiful trails both north and south from this location.
Willmore Park
Willmore Park is located 6 km south of town (follow 63rd street south) along the beautiful McLeod River.
Willmore Park offers an extensive multipe-use trail system, scenic views, day use, group use, overnight and backcountry camping facilities, tobogganing hill and boat launch.
Our 12.75 km loop trail system is excellent for short walks, longer hikes or mountain biking. The trails offer a nice mix of rolling terrain, short uphills and intermediate downhills through old growth mixed-wood forest along the McLeod River.
