Council Notes - Regular Meeting November 19, 2024
Legislative Framework Policy L-D-7. Legislative Framework Policy L-D-7 was approved. This policy establishes a governance framework for developing and managing the Town’s bylaws, policies, and procedures.
Meeting Cancellation. The budget meeting scheduled for November 26, 2024, at 7:00 pm has been cancelled.
2024 Uncollectable Accounts. Council has authorized Administration to write off the 2024 Uncollectable Accounts.
AGENT Program. Council approved the implementation of the AGENT Program, which addresses the increasing challenges of loitering and encampments affecting local businesses and public safety.
Small Communities Opportunity Program Grant. Administration received Council’s endorsement to submit a grant application under the Small Communities Opportunity Program to fund business support initiatives.
Northern and Regional Economic Development Program Grant. Administration received Council’s endorsement to submit a grant application under the Northern and Regional Economic Development Program to support the Invest Edson project.
Quarterly Financial Report. The Quarterly Financial Report up to September 30, 2024, was accepted.
RCMP Q2 2024 Report. The RCMP Q2 2024 Report was accepted as information
