Holiday Hours for Town of Edson Facilities
As we approach the holiday season, here’s a quick update on hours for Town facilities and services:
Town Facility Closures:
- Civic Centre – Closed December 25, 26, 27, and January 1.
- Protective Services Building – Closed December 25, 26, 27, and January 1 (emergency response remains unaffected).
- Edson and District Leisure Centre – Closed December 25, 26, 27, and January 1. Open on other days with adjusted holiday schedules. Please check their page for full details.
- Griffiths Park Centre – Closed December 25, 26, 27, and January 1.
- Public Works Building – Closed December 25, 26, 27, and January 1.
- Edson Landfill – Closed December 25, 26, 27, and January 1. Open December 24 (until 4:00 PM), December 28 and December 31 (10:00 AM to 6:00 PM). Regular hours resume January 2.
Lagoon/WWTP Hours:
- Open – December 23, 24 and December 27 regular business hours.
- Closed – December 25, 26, and January 1.
After-hours call-outs will incur a $200 fee plus applicable charges. Reach out during regular hours at (780) 728-5646 or after hours at (780) 723-6300.
Garbage and Organics Collection:
- Garbage Collection – No changes to the schedule.
- Organics Collection – January 1 pickup will be moved to Wednesday, January 2.
