Edson & District Public Library Grand Reopening

A huge congratulations today to the Edson and District Public Library - Presented by Peyto Exploration & Development Corp. The Grand Reopening Ceremony was held at noon today.
MP Gerald Soroka, MLA Martin Long, Edson Mayor Kevin Zahara, Yellowhead County Mayor Wade Williams, and other dignitaries were on hand to help commemorate the event.
Todd Burdick, Vice President of Produciton for Peyto, also spoke, as well as the Chair and Vice-Chair of the Library Board, Robin Corser and Sheila Buckle.
This $3.7 million renovation project was a joint effort between the Province of Alberta, Town of Edson, Yellowhead County, and the Town of Edson Library Board through various grants and funding and we're very happy to see it come to fruition.
