Edson Regional Airport Cost-Share Agreement. Council authorized the endorsement of the Edson Regional Airport Operating and Funding Agreement for the period of January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2028. This agreement outlines the shared responsibilities and funding contributions for the operation of the regional airport, ensuring its continued service to the community and region.
Joint Use and Planning Agreements with Local School Divisions. Council reviewed the Joint Use and Planning Agreements with Living Waters Catholic Separate School Division and Grande Yellowhead Regional School Division and accepted them as information. These agreements help coordinate the use of school and municipal facilities, supporting community access and efficient planning between the Town and the school divisions. The final agreements will be brought to a future meeting for consideration.
Next meetings— The next Town Council Meeting is scheduled for March 4, 2025, at 7:00 PM in Council Chambers. The next Committee of the Whole Meeting is scheduled for March 11, 2025, at 7:00 PM in Council Chambers.
