Airport Training Exercise

The Town of Edson, in coordination with Transport Canada regulations, will be conducting an Airport Training Exercise on November 8, 2024. This exercise is an essential part of maintaining safe and efficient operations at our airport.
What to Expect:
- Increased Fire Activity: As part of the training, you may notice increased fire activity, particularly in the snow dump area.
- Live Fire Simulation: A small live fire portion will be conducted to ensure our crews are fully prepared for emergency response scenarios.
Please be assured that this is a controlled exercise and poses no danger to residents. We will be working closely with emergency responders to ensure everything runs smoothly.
