Canada Day 2024
Bring your family and friends out for all kinds of fun on Canada Day! The day kicks off with the Edson Royal Canadian Legion Branch #51 pancake breakfast from 9:00 am to noon.
Festivities begin at RCMP Centennial Park at 1:00 with opening ceremonies at 1:30, cupcakes, roving stilt walkers, photo booth, caricaturist, balloon twisting, artisan market, inflatables, food trucks including elephant ears, and special performances by Kehewin Dancers, DJ Warkentin and Spandy Andy!
The Edson & District Historical Society is partnering with us on this event and will be hosting an artisan market inside the museum.
Fireworks have been moved to Light Up on Friday, November 22nd in response to the outstanding feedback from last year. The earlier time allowed even little people to watch and the display was far more brilliant against the darker sky and newly-illuminated trees. Mark your calendar!
