Chief Milton King's Coronation Medal
Posted onEdson Fire Chief Brad Milton has been honoured with the King’s Coronation Medal.
At a ceremony in Ottawa on December 4th, 2024, Chief Milton was recognized by the Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs (CAFC) as an official recipient of King Charles III’s Coronation Medal.
The medal was awarded through the CAFC to members that go to extraordinary and unspoken lengths, timewise, and strategically, to represent the fire service.
On behalf of the residents of Edson, Town Council congratulates Chief Milton on this prestigious honour. His leadership during the 2023 & 2024 fire and flood emergencies was exemplary. In his short time with us he has increased the capacity and built a strong culture within the Edson Fire Service. Congratulations Chief Milton!

The King Charles III Coronation Medal is the first Canadian honour to feature the Canadian Royal Crown approved by His Majesty. It symbolizes significant contributions and reflects the profound impact recipients have made to their communities or Canada as a whole.
