Anyone with basement flooding is asked to contact the Town Office to register the issue. This helps us track problem areas of town and pass on important information, including Red Cross assistance and waste collection options for flooded properties.
Those registered will be offered a waste bin for flood waste collection.
Please do not store waste or damaged furniture on the front lawn as it will not be picked up unless in proper bins or regular curbside waste collection bins.
Please talk to insurance company PRIOR to throwing anything out.
Residents should keep all receipts, document everything (including your time), and contact your insurance company as soon as possible.
